Privacy Policy for Mahjong Calculator

Mahjong Calculator is developed by 4Seater under the Dragon Seat name. This policy covers the calculator, our support form, and the ad-supported version currently being tested.

Calculator data

The calculator does not require an account. Scores, game history, and preferences are stored on your device. The existing paid version does not display ads. Advertising described below applies when the ad-supported version requests ads, including in TestFlight testing.

Advertising and consent

The ad-supported version uses Google AdMob and Google's User Messaging Platform. We request non-personalized banner ads. Non-personalized ads still involve data processing for delivery, measurement, security, and fraud prevention.

Google's advertising SDK may process your IP address, approximate location inferred from it, device or app identifiers, ad views and interactions, diagnostics, and performance data. We do not request precise location permission for advertising or send your saved scores and game history as ad targeting data.

Where required, a consent or privacy message lets you accept, decline, or manage choices. Available choices can be revisited in the app's Settings under Ad privacy choices. Ads remain off when the app cannot establish that it may request them. Learn more in Google's Privacy Policy and how Google uses information from apps that use its services.

Customers who purchased the paid app

Customers who acquired the app before the change to free will retain ad-free access. The updated app checks Apple's verified original acquisition information on the device to determine eligibility. This does not give us your payment details. If verification is unavailable, ads stay off. After reinstalling with the same Apple account, use Restore ad-free purchase in Settings if necessary.

Remove Ads purchase

The updated app offers an optional one-time Remove Ads purchase. Apple handles payment; the app uses StoreKit to verify the purchase on your device. We do not receive your payment card details. A verified purchase disables banner ads. To recover a completed purchase after reinstalling or on another device using the same Apple account, choose Restore ad-free purchase in Settings. Restoring does not require buying the purchase again.

Support requests

When you choose to use our support form, the contact information and message you submit are processed by our form provider, FormSubmit, and delivered to our support mailbox so we can respond. Do not include payment details or other sensitive information. See FormSubmit's Privacy Policy.

Your information and choices

You can remove locally saved app data by deleting the app, subject to your device backup settings. To ask about information you submitted through support, or make a privacy request, use the support form. Google manages information it receives under its own privacy policy and controls.
